Reagan's 5th birthday is next week. She's decided that she wants to have an all-girl tea party this year. She has also requested to have cake pops like the ones at Starbucks. There is no way I am spending $1.50 per kid for cake pops, so I went on google and researched how to make them at home. I've made 3 different kinds so far and they are sooooo yummy and pretty easy to make. (There's a picture of Tristan with one below). And to save additional money, I'm making these cute flower clips as favors for the girls. I'm so excited to be rediscovering my crafty side. I need lots of practice though, so if you want me to make something for you, let me know. My current repertoire includes diaper cakes (one of my favorite things - I've made a bunch), flower clips, hair bows, and cake pops. Ah man, looks like I'll need to get a sewing machine soon too. I'm wishing right now that I had Kristen's! lol
This is a funfetti cake pop with cream cheese icing and vanilla coating. I've also made chocolate & chocolate mint. This week I'm planning to try strawberry, chocolate peanut butter, and german chocolate. Yum!
I stole these adorable pictures of Charlotte from Kristen's facebook page. I made the bows as clips and made the headband separate so that Kristen could create different looks for each outfit.
And this is the flower clip I learned how to make out of ribbon yesterday. I still need some practice.
