Oh Christmas Tree....

Yesterday, I went over to Ruth's house for accountability.  The kids immediately ran to their Christmas tree and oohed and ahhed over it's splendor.  Tristan found a dough ornament and wanted to eat it.  We told him it was not a real cookie and that it wouldn't taste good, but he was convinced we were pulling his chain.  So, Ruth tells him to lick it. (yes, lick the old, stale, salty ornament - lol)  She was thinking it would convince him that it was no good, but to our surprise he said, "It's yummy!"  Fast forward through discussion and prayer.  We're getting ready to leave and Tristan and Matthew are sitting at the base of the tree, licking all the ornaments.  Ruth just shrugged, laughed, and said, "well, they won't get germs cause no one else licks them."  LOL  Guess we'll be getting the Patz Family some Lysol for Christmas.  And maybe some new dough ornaments that aren't soggy with spit.
