My parents have always sent out Christmas cards too. I remember helping with address labels and stamps on nearly 100 cards each year. Ridiculous! With everything going on in the hustle and bustle of their lives, they haven't done cards in a while. So, I got to thinking...what if I designed some cards for them? I could make some to include all the siblings and grand kids and send them to my parents as a surprise. I knew my mom, especially would love them! So, I got to work...and I got sneaky! I facebook stalked my siblings and stole their most recent pictures. I conned my mom into giving me a summary of the past year and the year to come. It was a lot of fun. And I designed a card that I think will make them proud...a card they will be happy to send to their closest friends and relatives. And if I had paid for them full price, not including tax & shipping, they would have cost $120. These are no el-cheapo cards. These are exquisite, unique, beautiful Shutterfly cards!
I've asked my mom not to read my blog for the next week or so, so that I can share their surprise with you! They are being shipped to my grandmother's house in St. Pete so that they can get them to send out before Christmas and have a little surprise waiting for them when they finally get there. (Don't worry, my dad carries his address book with him 24/7 so they'll have all they need to send them out ;o)
