Every year, since we have had Reagan, we have gone to the Spring Festival at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. It's really a lot of fun. They have activities for the kids, a butterfly tent where you can feed the butterflies, food, music, crafts, fresh produce, and plants and flowers of all kinds. Kris had a lot of work to do in the backyard so today we went with our friends Monica & Peyton. The kids got to feed the butterflies. Then we headed over to the kid station where Reagan and Peyton got to pot a plant, make a flower bouquet, color, make a bird feeder, and make a hat. They had so much fun. We had a yummy picnic in the grass--PB&J with fresh fruit. Then we let the kids play in the bounce house. Once they were nice and worn out, we had homemade ice cream and then headed home. The weather was sooooo nice today too...it wasn't too hot, there was a cool breeze, and it was clear & sunny. Perfect! Here are some pictures from our outing.
