Before I begin today's blog, I wanted to show you pictures of Tristan at the doctor and the dissolving blanket from yesterday:

I'm still learning the layout and tools for this website. I haven't figured out how to set the pictures up the way I want yet...so sorry if it looks weird.
So today was exciting! We finally got our privacy fence up. It's taken about 2 weeks, but has totally been worth the wait and the hard work. Just a few months ago they put a speed table in our neighborhood right by our property line, which allowed every single car to slow down to peek into our yard. Kris said that while he was working today, about 6 people stopped to tell him the fence looked nice and that he was doing a good job, while 2 tried to hire him to put up fences in their yards. I just thought that was funny. It is so nice to finally have some privacy. Now all we have to do is rake and clean it up so that the kids can go outside and play!!
While Kris was working on the yard, the kids and I went to Ocala to visit my grandmother, Nini. We had lunch and went shopping. It was really nice. As you know, we have had a difficult time with potty training. S

he was doing well for a while and then just backslid and we couldn't figure out why. I can't tell you how many times I told her that I was not going to buy any more Pull-Ups. Well today, we went to Target to buy some more because Reagan was refusing to go potty even though she hadn't had any accidents up to that point. I ran to the diaper aisle and put one on her in the middle of the store. To my surprise she made it back to Nini's house dry even after stopping 2 more times on the way home. Then she made it home to Gainesville dry. After she had gone into the bathroom, I noticed that she had taken her Pull-Up off and was wearing her "princess panties." She told me that she didn't want to wear Pull-Ups anymore and she was ready to wear big girl underwear. We put her to bed about 45 minutes ago, completely accident free. I'm not going to hold my breath, but if she's anything like her mother, she just needed to make the decision to be potty trained all on her own. We'll see.
