The kids and I loaded up and headed to Tampa again this past weekend. Kris had some home improvements and studying to do. We had lunch with Nini on Thursday on the way down, had dinner with Opa & Grand, a little shopping at Target, and then visited with my cousins, Sonshine, Brianna, and Skylar.
On Friday morning we went to Babies R Us and I added some fun things to my registry. Then we met my sister, Erica, and my nephews, Vince & Evan, at International Mall for some Chick Fil A. We took the kids to meet Santa in "Narnia" and played on the playground. The kids were getting sleepy by that point so we got in the car to head home. They both fell asleep so I decided to go to Brandon to shop at Kohl's to get some birthday presents for some special kids I know. We got stuck in stopped traffic going back to my dad's, but still made it time for some dinner.
Saturday morning, I drove to Orlando to visit one of my besties, Kristen, and her new baby Charlotte.
Kristen, Charlotte, & I had a really yummy lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. The nursing mom and the preggo pigged out. :o) We walked around and did a little shopping afterward. I was thrilled to find an outfit for Camden to wear home from the hospital. It's covered in surfing monkeys and cars.
I also got matching jammies for Rea & T for Christmas morning.
They're going to look so cute in them!
It was really nice to be able to enjoy an afternoon with a girlfriend without any time constraints or schedule. And while I was in Orlando, the kiddos spent the day with my dad at a birthday party. When I got home,
Kris and I had dinner and snuggled on the couch. We even got to sleep in Sunday morning.
Sunday, we went to church and my dad met us there with the kiddos. We had lunch at Olive Garden and then enjoyed a nice family day together. I even had time to finish the kids' first year picture collage. I can't wait to hang them in their rooms. I am so thankful and blessed to have had such a nice weekend!
