I'm Walking on Sunshine!

Other than the usual feeling gross pregnant sick, this week has been pretty good so far.  On Tuesday, I got the best deal EVER!  We ended up getting to Rea's ballet class a little early so I decided to check out a diaper bag I'd been admiring online at our local baby store, Hey Baby!  After scoping out the bags, I realized we still had time to kill so I started looking at furniture...more for ideas than anything else.  I can't afford any of the furniture in this store.  It looked like they had gotten a lot of new stuff in so I asked the sales clerk about one of the cribs on display.  She told me it was usually around $600 but had been discontinued so it was discounted.  I asked her how much and she told me she would have to call the owner, but that it was part of a set.  So I asked her to tell me how much for the set, which included the crib, dresser, and mirror (which were originally priced at $660, $760, and $300).  I was floored when she came back and told me that the owner wanted only $500 for the whole set!!  I called my mom, who is planning to help us get our crib and furniture and she said to ask Kris first if it was okay.  I texted Kris, who was in class at the time, and he gave me the thumbs up.  So, now we have furniture for Camden.  I am so excited!  I can't wait to make a boy's room for T & Cam.  And Rea is thrilled to have her own room where she doesn't have to "hear Tristan snoring."

So, I don't know if I mentioned this before, but a few months back, I won a photo package with a local photographer, Laurel Housden, http://www.laurelhousden.com.  She is also an associate photographer for Giggle Magazine, http://gigglemag.com. Laurel hosted a scavenger hunt in the June/July issue of Giggle Magazine to celebrate her third cover.  The grand prize was a $550 gift certificate toward a photo session.
We had our photo session yesterday, and although I haven't seen all of the pictures, I am thrilled with the 3 sneak previews I've gotten to see so far.  Check them out!
