First of all, I apologize to those of you who are sick of hearing about my boobs. Right now, this is my life, so unfortunately I don't have much else to talk about. So, just bear with me.
Camden is doing great!! He weighed 9 lbs. 8 oz. at his 1 month check up (which was actually 4 weeks). He's gained 2lbs. 2 oz. since he was born. He's a sweet baby and very chill. He's had a little bit of a cold the last few days, so he's not been feeling great. The doctor said it could be allergies or a little cold, but no fever, no worries.
And....I'm still nursing! I know, I can't believe it either. I have been giving my right side a break and just pumping, and it's finally starting to heal. I'm not sure if I have yeast or not, cause it's only the one side, but it seems like all the pain issues were just from the nipple damage. I nursed on my right side once yesterday and the initial latch on was painful, but it wasn't so bad after that. I'm going to give it a day or two though before I go back to nursing on that side. My left side is great and I nurse on it every other feeding. I'll be thrilled when I don't have to pump, nurse, and do bottles!!
