I was just looking at some wedding blogs and pictures and I couldn't help thinking, "if I could only do it all over again." I had a beautiful wedding! Everything seemed perfect....except for my photographer. For the first year after our wedding, I would cry every time I looked at our pictures because they were so disappointing. They don't come close to showing how wonderful our big day was. If only I could turn back the hands of time, I would have chosen someone who could truly capture the best day of my life. I'm glad that I at least got portraits taken...but every time I look at someone's wedding pictures, I get a little sad wishing I could have that day back to do all over again. I feel the same way about my wedding video -- we had a friend do it for us who is a hobbiest videographer. We paid for our own wedding so we took all the help we could get, and he did it for us as a wedding gift. He apparently lost the video, though, because we've never seen it and he won't return phone calls, e-mails -- nothing. It's so depressing. I'll never see my wedding again :(
ReplyDeleteI remember your wedding being so much fun! I realize that pictures and videos are so important and thank goodness you were able to get the ones above, but what your guests remember and the memories you and Kris have are priceless to!
