One year til the big 30!

So, I turned 29 on Tuesday. I had a great birthday week! First, my besties Shannon and Leah took me to Yamato Friday night for dinner. Then we went to see My Sister's Keeper with another friend of mine. Then my nursery staff surprised me Sunday morning with breakfast and cards. Then on Monday night, Kris got a sitter so we could go to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. On the way to dinner my wonderful husband surprised me with exactly what I wanted for my birthday...or at least one of the 2 things that I wanted. He signed me up for a gym membership so that I can get in shape before I'm 30. That's the goal anyway. Then he took me shopping with my birthday money to get some cute workout clothes. (I was preggo with Rea the last time I worked out, so I definitely needed some stuff). On Tuesday, my actual birthday, my grandmother took me to lunch at Panera and helped me watch the kids while I ran errands. Shannon and Connor went with us too. Then my other bestie, AA, took me to ChickFilA for my free dinner combo where she surprised me with a Pampered Chef chopper!! I was so excited. Then we met up with our sisters (small group) to see The Proposal! It was hilarious! Afterward we got free ice cream from Cold Stone! It was awesome!! This Friday, I am going to see The Proposal again (because it's that good) with my friend Sam!

Updates:
On June 26th, Kris and I celebrated our 5th anniversary. Money has been tight so we decided to take the kids to my dad's house so we could have our house to ourselves. While I was taking the kids, Kris cleaned the entire house and put away all of the kid's toys. My cousin, Brooke, cut my hair as a surprise for Kris. She gave me bangs and took some length off. I think she did a great job! We had decided to go to dinner at Downtown 101 to celebrate and that was going to be it for our weekend, but then Kris surprised me with a gift card to Cloud 9 Spa and some of my favorite candy. Turns out, he had been saving aluminum for weeks, collecting cans and things so that he could buy me an anniversary gift. I really have the sweetest husband in the whole world!

Things are going well. Kris is enjoying his last few weeks off of school, before he returns in the fall. He will be filling out applications to get into UF, UCF, or USF for the spring. We are still trying to sell his truck, but we have decided to postpone our house hunt until we find out where he will be going to school in the spring. I have been busy with nursery stuff as we prepare to launch a satellite service. I'm just tyring to enjoy my time with my kiddos and my friends. God has been teaching me a lot about patience and love. We are going to be serving at Breakthrough with our small group in two weeks. It's a church retreat that just really focuses on God's love. It's pretty amazing! We haven't served since Reagan was little, so we're excited to get plugged in again. That's pretty much it. I will post some pictures soon.
